Monthly Series MeetingsAll pregnant women and nursing mothers are invited to join us for our monthly meetings. Come, and find a community that will support you in your decision to mother your child through breastfeeding. Babies are always welcome at La Leche League meetings!
Topics covered include: The Advantages of Breastfeeding. Getting Off to a Good Start and Family Adjustments to a New Baby. The Art of Breastfeeding: Avoiding and Overcoming Difficulties. Nutrition and Weaning. Leaders are always available during and after meetings to answer specific breastfeeding questions you may have. La Leche League of Ferndale/Oak Park Evening Group has a lending library of books and resources on childbirth, breastfeeding, parenting, and nutrition. If one interests you, check it out and return it the next month. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7PM at the Claddagh Chiropractic Healing Center, Suite C 641 W.Nine mile, Ferndale MISouth East Corner of 9 mile and Livernois Across from Ferndale Foods. |
Directions: The Claddagh Chiropractic Center is at the SouthEast corner of Livernois and 9 mile across from Ferndale Foods. From 9 mile headed West, turn left into their parking lot, the main door faces Livernois. From 9 mile headed East, turn right into their parking lot.
